I am a licensed clinical psychologist with over three decades of experience in the field of mental health. Currently, I am practicing in a private setting.
After completing my university degree in psychology, I pursued a 5-year post-graduate training program to specialize in clinical adult psychology in Norway. Since then, I have gained expertise in various therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
In 2014, I achieved the distinction of becoming a Peer-reviewed ACT Trainer, officially recognized by the Association for Contextual Behavioral Science. In 2022, the Norwegian Association for Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (a member of the European Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Therapies) recognized me as a supervisor in CBT.
Between 2015 and 2018, I coordinated a clinical research project at Akershus University Hospital that focused on a new integrative treatment for recurrent depression, known as Emotional Safeness Therapy. This led to the development of a comprehensive model of human wellbeing called the Matrix of Wellbeing.
In recent years, I have expanded my professional activities to include lecturing post-graduate psychotherapy trainees at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities in Warsaw, Poland. Additionally, I have presented my work at 12 international conferences across nine different countries.
